Rombo Reserve Dominican Batch IV

Rombo Reserve Dominican Batch IV is the fourth edition in Rombo's very own Reserve series. For more than 8 years, we at Rombo have been known for our fresh and humorous signs outside the store, and the theme on the label is therefore a print of previously popular signs that we have displayed. This time the sign says: "Take Life One Sip at A Time". Rombo Reserve is a series of sweet, sugar cane-based spirits, which can no longer be called rum if there is more than 20 grams of sugar per liter in the bottle.

This Dominican Batch IV release has a sugar addition of precisely 40 grams per liter, which corresponds to 4% of the content. The sign on the label is new, but otherwise Rombo Reserve Dominican Batch IV has the same content as Batch I, Batch II and Batch III: sweet, smooth and pleasant, as most people prefer it. Among the notes, you will find crème brûlée, caramel and dried fruit (apricot/figs). This is a Dominican "spirit drink" from the AFD distillery, which has used fresh sugar cane juice for fermentation and distillation, after which the casks have been aged for 8-12 years in American and French oak barrels. Only 96 bottles of this Dominican Batch IV have been made, and once these are sold, a Batch V with a new sign on the label is planned to be produced.
