When Casa Oliver launched their Ron Quorhum (QRM) series in 2013 with the 12, 15, 23, and especially the Quorhum 30 editions, sales "exploded" completely, and for many years thereafter, the series was one of the best-selling in the rum category of its time. Since then, only a few sporadic launches have occurred, but now, at long last, something is happening again with QRM.
The Quorhum 2026 series includes, among others, this Orígenes 24 Artisanal Rum, which is a blend of Dominican, Colombian, Venezuelan, and Cuban rums. Each country contributes something special to the Quorhum Orígenes 24 rum: the Dominicans' delicacy and softness, the Colombians' intensity and richness, the Venezuelans' elegance and lightness, and the Cubans' robustness and complexity.
The rum is based on both younger and older rum distillates of various types – both stronger and lighter. Quorhum Orígenes 24 contains rum distillates up to 24 years old, matured in ex-rye whiskey barrels of American oak.
The aroma of Quorhum Orígenes offers freshly brewed coffee, chocolate, vanilla, mint, honey, and fruity undertones. On the palate, one finds vanilla, oak, coffee, chocolate, and tobacco.
