Pusser's Rum Select Age 151 Overproof rum at a full 75.5% is from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana. The rum is inspired by the old "sailor's rum", which was rationed daily in the British Navy from the mid-1600s until Black Tot Day on July 31, 1970, when the serving stopped. Pusser's Rum Select Age 151 Overproof is reminiscent of the rum that was then delivered at cask strength to the Royal Navy shipyards in Deptford, Devonport, and Gosport. Pusser's Rum Select Age 151 Overproof has been aged for a minimum of 3 years in 1st fill ex-bourbon casks and has an aroma of marmalade, marzipan, cinnamon, and tobacco, among others. The taste includes notes of syrup, spices, fruit, leather, raisins, oak, and English licorice. 75.5% ABV - 70 cl.
