Piña Colada Cocktail Kit

The Piña Colada, a tropical cocktail made with rum, coconut, pineapple, and lime juice, dates back to the 1950s and has been satisfying vacationers and Tiki enthusiasts ever since. The story goes that the Piña Colada debuted in 1954 when it was first mixed by Ramon "Monchito" Marrero, the head bartender at the Caribe Hilton in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. 

A good Piña Colada is sweet but balanced, with a crisp rum and tart fruit complementing the rich coconut. Whether you're on vacation or just making drinks at home, don't neglect the Piña Colada. Serve one of these to your guests, and good times are inevitable.

Suggested recipe:

• 4 cl White Rum
• 10 cl Pineapple Juice
• 3 cl Coconut Cream
• 1.5 cl Freshly squeezed lime juice
• Garnish: Pineapple slice

You buy the following in the cocktail package:

• 1 bottle Cortez Blanco rum
• 2 cans Coco Lopez coconut cream
  
• PS! Approximately 1.5 cans are needed for a whole bottle of rum

Steps

• Fill your shaker with ice cubes.
• Pour all ingredients into the shaker.
• Shake for 10 seconds until the shaker feels cold.
• Strain through a sieve into a glass with ice.
• Alternatively: If you want a Frozen Piña Colada, you can blend the cocktail with ice cubes.
• Finish with a slice of pineapple as garnish.

The quantities presented in this recipe are merely our preference, but you can, of course, make the cocktail as you wish.
