Macbeth Lady Macduff is one of twelve noble malts in the Thanes series, and one of three in the first act of the Macbeth collection inspired by the Scottish play. The illustration was created by the renowned illustrator, Sir Quentin Blake.
To cast this role in Livingstone's Macbeth collection, whisky producer Elixir Distillers had to find a single malt of rare elegance and beauty. And this 31-year-old edition of this Speyside Single Malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1991, perfectly suited Lady Macduff. A blend of four ex-bourbon casks from the Linkwood distillery proves to be the perfect embodiment of the ill-fated Lady Macduff. The aroma shows all the floral, citrus and white fruit notes characteristic of Linkwood, while the taste holds hidden depths that hint at the strength and determination of its inspiration. An extraordinarily fine Speyside malt.

Macbeth
The Macbeth Collection is a collection of 41 different whiskies from all over Scotland, selected and bottled by Livingstone in collaboration with Elixir Distillers. Each whisky represents a character from William Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth, with illustrations by Sir Quentin Blake and character notes by Dave Broom.
There are six series in the Macbeth collection, which will be released in five acts.
