Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky is from the Finnish Kyrö Distillery Company, previously best known for their award-winning Napue Gin, which has taken the world by storm. The people behind Kyrö Distillery Company actually came up with the business idea while sipping rye whisky in a sauna (where else?), and Kyrö is the name of the local river. Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky is the first Finnish single-batch rye whisky, made from 100% malted Finnish whole grain rye. Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky is also double pot-still distilled and matured in new American oak casks. The aroma reveals notes of vanilla, caramel, and dried fruit, while the taste offers notes of sweet rye bread, honey, wild berries, coffee, and caramel, among others. Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky won a gold medal at IWSC in 2020. 47.2% - 50 cl.
