Guyana Port Mourant Shared Single Cask Rum
Guyana Port Mourant Shared Single Cask Rum is a "single cask rum" that was selected together with a number of wonderful customers who participated in Rombo's trip to 1423 ApS in the autumn of 2025 to taste rum and to see the impressive warehouse with more than 2,000 casks.
This unique Guyana rum was distilled in the legendary Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot still at Diamond Distillers Limited (DDL) in 2022. It was then transported to Denmark and aged in a 130-liter Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry cask until final bottling in December 2025. The rum is made from sugar cane molasses.
A total of 167 bottles of Guyana Port Mourant Shared Single Cask Rum were bottled at 59% cask strength, and Rombo purchased the remaining 125 bottles after the customers' allocations. These are now being sold to others.
