Frederiksdal Vintage Cherry Wine
Frederiksdal Vintage Cherry Wine is an incredibly fruity cherry wine, made from the unique Danish Stevnsbær cherry. The cherries come from both young trees, which give the wine fruitiness and charm, and old trees, which add intensity and structure. The cherries are wild-fermented with both skins and stones for 2-4 days to ensure a more complex and deep flavour. The cherries are then pressed and finish fermenting in steel tanks, all to preserve as much of the fruit flavour as possible. Frederiksdal Vintage Cherry Wine's fine acidity and relatively low alcohol make it ideal for Christmas rice pudding, strong cheeses such as firm sheep's and cow's milk cheeses, and desserts with berries. The cherry wine keeps well for 1-2 weeks once opened, if stored in a cool place. 14% - 50cl.
