Cihuatán Cinabrio 12 Year is a rum produced by Licorera Cihuatan S.A. de C.V. in El Salvador, which is seemingly the only known rum producer from El Salvador. The name Cinabrio refers to the Cinabrio mineral, which the local Maya people used to create the red color we know in English as cinnabar red. Cihuatán Cinabrio 12 Year is column distilled and a blend of rums aged in ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years (Solera?). The taste offers notes of, among other things, caramelized orange peel, guarapo, plums, pistachios, and toasted oak. Comes in a beautiful and decorative gift box. 40% - 70 cl.
