Autentico Nativo Rum 20 Year Old Rum was developed in collaboration between Autentico Nativo Rum and the great rum legend from Cuba, Don Pancho Fernandez, who has been producing rum for more than 50 years. Since the 1990s, Don Pancho has lived in Panama, where, in collaboration with Destilería Las Cabras – where Autentico Nativo Rum is also distilled – he has helped create some of the world's best rum. Autentico Nativo Rum 20 Year Old Rum is tropically aged in Panama for a minimum of 20 years (so it should not be according to the Solera principle?) in used American whiskey barrels. Its high age is clearly felt in the taste of caramelized fruit, toasted nuts, burnt oak, and vanilla, which the barrel has imparted. Autentico Nativo Rum 20 Year Old Rum is both soft and complex with a long aftertaste and balanced sweetness. 40% – 70 cl.
