Appleton Estate Black River Casks 15 Year Old is a blend of selected rums produced with limestone-filtered water from the Black River. The rum is carefully selected and blended by Appleton's highly esteemed Master Blender Joy Spence, who is also the first female Master Blender in the spirits industry. All rums in Appleton Estate Black River Casks 15 Year Old are made from molasses from Appleton's own sugarcane and have matured for 15 years in Number One Select American Oak barrels, which impart extra vanilla notes and make the rum softer and less woody in taste. Appleton Estate Black River Casks 15 Year Old has aromas of toasted almonds, hazelnuts, and orange peel, with notes of vanilla, roasted coffee, and molasses. 43% - 70 cl.

The Appleton 12-year-old edition is a rum that challenges the nose and taste buds compared to most other rums. Appleton 21-year-old offers greater roundness and more complex flavor notes.
