Domaine Boucabeille 2022 Amethyst Red
Amethyst Rouge 2022 is a red wine made exclusively from 100% Grenache Noir, which contributes to its beautiful, violet colour. This wine is fresh, elegant, and fruity with aromas and flavours of cherry and plum, surrounded by soft tannins. To enjoy the full taste experience, it is recommended to decant it and serve it at 16 degrees.
Jean Boucabeille created Amethyst Rouge 2019 with the desire to produce a "natural" wine that expresses the character of the grape and the slate soil where the vines grow. The wine's production is as pure as possible, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a short period where the wine ages "sur lie", meaning it rests on its lees (yeast remnants) for an extended period. The wine is bottled quickly without filtration and without the addition of sulphur.
