The absinthe spoon is an indispensable tool for serving the perfect absinthe: Dip a sugar cube in absinthe, place your spoon on your glass, and then place the sugar cube on the spoon. Then it's showtime. You light your sugar cube so that it melts into the glass, and you can now drink your absinthe shot.
