SBS French Antilles Grand Arome 2020 Rum - Danish Virgin Oak Cask
This SBS French Antilles Grand Arome 2020 is one of the rums selected for the special SBS Single Barrel Selection 2026 rum advent calendar, for which 24 unique and different single casks have been bottled. 5,000 copies of the advent calendar have been produced for the global market, and a large portion of the casks were used for this purpose. However, there was a remaining stock in most of the 24 casks, and this has been bottled in standard 70 cl bottles in very limited quantities. At Rombo, we have selected 9 of the 24 rums from the calendar, and these are now available for purchase in full bottle size.
The SBS French Antilles Grand Arome 2020 rum is made from molasses and column distilled. We can loudly whisper that we are talking about rum from Martinique. The maturation took place for 6 years in Funen in a 200-litre Virgin Oak cask. The aroma offers overripe fruit, olives, vanilla, and oak spices. The taste has notes of, among other things, tropical fruit, sugar cane syrup, salt, and tannins from the Danish oak.

SBS Rum-utgåvorna är som utgångspunkt osötade (utan tillsatt socker), icke-kylfiltrerade och med högre alkoholstyrka (vissa av SBS rom-tappningarna är till och med tappade vid fatstyrka).
