Redbreast Irish Whiskey 15 Years is a single pot still whiskey from the Midleton distillery in Ireland, which is Ireland's largest. In 2015, it won the award for "World's Best Pot Still Whisky" at the World Whiskies Awards. Redbreast 15-year-old single pot whiskey has matured in former Oloroso sherry casks, and the cask influence is clearly noticeable in the notes of oak spices, cherry, chocolate, and raisins. These are followed by vanilla, caramel, and a hint of cardamom, while the taste includes vanilla, milk chocolate, and oak, culminating in warm spices and toasted wood. Non-chill filtered. 46% – 70cl.

Redbreast

Redbreast Irish Whiskey is owned by Irish Distillers / Pernod Ricard and is produced at the New Midleton Distillery, County Cork, Ireland. It is a Single Pot Still Whiskey, and sales are primarily dominated by the 12-year-old Redbreast Irish Whiskey. Irish whiskey is generally more accessible than Scottish whisky, as its production is based on dried barley (and thus no peat smoke), triple distillation, and the use of larger stills.
