Their sugar factory has been producing sugar and molasses with undiminished strength since 1720; and this very molasses is used for the distillation of all their rum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe influence of the Calvados casks is immediate on the nose. This combined with traditional Worthy Park notes is reminiscent of a fruit basket; tropical fruit flavors of banana and sapodilla mixed with apples and floral notes. Sweet caramel, a little vanilla and cinnamon rounded off with a subtle smokiness are also present in the aroma. When tasting, one is met with a more subdued sweetness with an intricate blend of the fruit flavors that come through. An almost menthol-like coolness that lingers in the finish, combined with faint hints of caramel and dark chocolate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's a limited bottling, so get your hands on one while you can!
