As was the case with the 1st edition (Curious whisky), the 2nd edition is decorated by Danish tattoo artist Thit Hansgaard. Stauning Bastard Whisky consists of 70% malted rye and 30% malted barley. After 3 years of maturation in heavily charred virgin oak casks, from which a lot of flavour has been extracted from the wood, the whisky was transferred to 5 mezcal casks from Oro de Oaxaca, where it matured for a further 6 months.
