Rum Nation Venezuela XO 25th Anniversary is a medium-sweet rum released by Danish importer Mac Y in connection with the Rum Nation brand's 25th anniversary. In fact, Mac Y took over the internationally renowned Rum Nation brand from its Italian founder, Fabio Rossi, some years ago; Rossi is still associated with the company as a consultant.
The rum is tropically aged in Venezuela for 6 years in ex-bourbon casks and has been adjusted with 15.4 grams of sugar per liter, which qualifies it as a medium-sweet rum.
When you nose Rum Nation Venezuela XO 25th Anniversary rum, you'll detect notes of roasted almonds, nougat, and candied orange peel. The taste offers dark chocolate, orange, and exotic spices, finishing with a long, soft, and creamy aftertaste.
