Abuelo 12 Year Gran Reserva Rum

Ron Abuelo Anejo Gran Reserva Rum 12 years is a blend of two types: a light, clean rum distilled to a higher alcohol percentage and a more aromatic rum with a big, spicy taste. After blending, the rum is aged in oak barrels, which impart notes of vanilla and caramel.

Aroma of sugarcane and orange, and a taste that is spicy and full-bodied with a good balance. Finish: long and sweet. Ron Abuelo 12 years Anejo Gran Reserva won a gold medal at the International Rum Expert Panel 2010.

Ron Abuelo is a consistently medium-sweet rum series, which, however, even from its 7-year-old edition, also boasts good complexity that balances the sweetness in a pleasant way. In other words, Ron Abuelo offers good rum for your money! The distillery's showpiece is Ron Abuelo Centuria Reserva de la Familia, which was named Best New Rum at the Golden Rum Barrel Awards in October 2011 in London.
