Rombo Exclusive Cask Rum Australia KLK Virgin Oak
Our 50-liter Virgin Oak cask is finally ready to be bottled, which will happen on May 17th. You can stop by the Rombo store in Frederiksberg during opening hours (10 AM - 3 PM) to taste the unique Rombo Exclusive Cask Rum Australia KLK Virgin Oak. The bottle will also go on sale online at 10 AM for everyone else.
On August 16, 2024, we filled the cask with an incredibly delicious and bold unaged rum from the Killik distillery - marque KLK - in Australia. Lots of funky intensity and strawberry notes. After 9 months of aging, a revolution has occurred, and the small Virgin Oak cask has quickly transformed the rum into a dark and well-aged flavor bomb. The strawberry note is still there in the background, but now the rum is also full of wonderful, spicy, and vanilla-filled cask notes.
On May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, we will begin bottling Rombo Exclusive Cask Rum Australia KLK Virgin Oak at the store, and we will continue until 3:00 PM or while supplies last.
