Patridom XO Limited Edition Cherry Wine Finish is based on Patridom XO, a "premium spirit drink" from the Dominican Republic, bottled by 1423 and distilled by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos from fresh sugarcane juice and molasses. Patridom XO has aged between 12 and 15 years in a tropical climate in American and French oak barrels in the Dominican Republic.
This Patridom XO Limited Edition with Cherry Wine Cask Finish has additionally undergone an extra continental aging in ex-Cherry Wine barrels, which adds a fruity note. The barrels used actually come from Ukraine, where cherry wine is a very popular delicacy. Patridom XO Cherry Wine Cask Finish was bottled in June 2024, resulting in only 2,237 bottles.
When you first smell it, you will be met by fresh, lively and grassy undertones, softly rounded by smooth vanilla and a hint of cherry. Upon first taste, you will immediately notice the delicate sweetness and softness of ripe cherries and mixed berries, finishing with a long and dry aftertaste. 42% - 70 cl.
