Old Pulteney 12-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky

Old Pulteney Single Malt 12-year-old whisky is distilled with water from the nearby Loch Hempriggs and has, after distillation, matured for 12 years in hand-picked bourbon casks. The result is an award-winning whisky that is very easy to drink. Colour: reddish-gold with a faint pink hue. Nose: medium intensity and complexity. Very dry and closed aroma. Hints of the beach (sand and seaweed). Taste: dry, medium-bodied and soft. Finish: dry and short finish. Old Pulteney 12-year-old whisky won Gold and Best In Class at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2006. 40% - 70 cl.

Old Pulteney

The Old Pulteney distillery, located in the Highland region, is the northernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland. Old Pulteney was founded in 1826 and is today owned by Inver House Distillers. The most well-known whisky in the series is the Old Pulteney 12-year-old single malt scotch whisky, and a range of older variants up to 40 years old are also produced.
