Margarita Cocktail Pack

The Margarita is among the most iconic cocktails worldwide, and it only requires three ingredients. Many versions exist, but nothing beats the classic Margarita with Tequila, Triple Sec, and freshly squeezed lime juice – garnished with salt on the rim of the glass, of course.

Some say the cocktail was invented in 1948 in Acapulco, Mexico, when a Dallas socialite combined blanco tequila with Cointreau and lime juice for her guests. 

Others claim that Margarita, which is the Spanish word for the daisy flower, was an inevitable variation of the earlier Daisy cocktail, which follows a template of spirit, citrus, orange liqueur, and soda. Make one with tequila, omit the soda, and you get a Margarita.

Recipe Suggestion:

• 4 cl Tequila
• 2 cl Triple Sec
• 2 cl Freshly squeezed lime juice
• 0.5-1 cl sugar syrup
• Garnish: Crystal or coarse salt

Cointreau

You purchase the following in the cocktail package:

• 1 bottle of Corralejo Blanco tequila
• 1 bottle of Cointreau Triple Sec
  
• Please note: sugar syrup is not included - optionally purchase Giffard Sugar Syrup

Steps:

• Fill a shaker with ice cubes and all ingredients. Shake well.
• Strain into a chilled martini or wine glass.
• Cut a slice of lime, rub it around the rim of the glass, and add salt to the glass rim.
