Eau-de-Vie Framboise Raspberry Brandy
Eau-de-Vie de Framboise from Joseph Nusbaumers is a top-quality eau-de-vie (water of life). Only the best fruit is used, and in large quantities. 8 kg of wild raspberries are used for 1 liter of raspberry brandy. The berries have a volatile and subtle aroma, and because they have a low sugar content, they are fermented for a while together with eau-de-vie from grapes. After fermentation, the mash is distilled in copper stills and aged for 2 years in barrels to preserve the fresh fruit sensation. Finally, the alcohol content is reduced with spring water from their own source in the Vosges mountains. Eau-de-Vie de Framboise is a clear, fresh spirit with a pronounced scent and taste of raspberries. 45% – 70 cl.
