Arran 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced by Isle of Arran Distillers Ltd. on the small, idyllic island of Arran, west of Kilmarnoch in Scotland. Arran whisky is primarily known for its well-balanced notes of citrus, among other things, and this 18-year-old single malt edition is no exception. Arran 18 Year Old also offers notes of caramel, tropical fruits, and toasted oak, and the final maturation in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks also gives the whisky distinct notes of sherry and raisins. Before its final maturation in sherry casks, Arran 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured in a combination of 1st fill and 2nd fill hogsheads and bourbon casks.

The whisky is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring. 46% - 70 cl.

The Isle of Arran whisky distillery is a relatively new distillery, established in 1995, and it is located – as the name suggests – on the Isle of Arran, a very scenic area southwest of Glasgow. The Arran single malt whisky is primarily matured in ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak and sherry casks made of European oak.
