Angostura Tamboo Spiced "spirit drink" is based on the legendary Angostura rum – flavored with Caribbean spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves – naturally sweetened with sugarcane molasses. A golden, warm, and spicy sugarcane spirit created for life's festive moments with dancing, music, and fun in the streets. The name comes from the Tamboo Bamboo, a bamboo drum that has provided carnival rhythms in the streets of Trinidad & Tobago since 1884, long before steel drums were invented on the islands.
Angostura Tamboo Spiced has an enchanting amber color. The aroma quickly captivates with a spicy and rich profile, where notes of vanilla and toffee apples clearly emerge. This is complemented by subtle hints of cardamom and cinnamon, which together create a deep and inviting experience. Upon tasting, a warm cinnamon is perceived, beautifully complementing the prominent vanilla and cake notes. The drink continues to enchant with its inviting nuances of nutmeg and smoked cardamom, before culminating in a smooth finish with the taste of marzipan. It has a medium-long aftertaste that leaves a desire for another sip.
