Mosgaard

Mosgaard Whisky comes from the award-winning Danish micro-distillery Mosgaard on Southern Funen, where Gitte and Jes Mosgaard produce whisky from Danish, organically grown barley malt. Mosgaard whisky is distilled twice in a custom-built copper pot still and then matured in custom-made small casks of 50/60 litres, which have often contained either bourbon or sherry. The small casks provide extra contact with the wood and therefore faster maturation. Mosgaard opened its doors in 2015 and has since won a host of awards for their whisky. Mosgaard has also been named Best Danish Distillery at the Berlin ISC in 2019, 2020 and 2021. At the time of writing, we carry 7 releases from Mosgaard's whisky range.
