The whisky reveals an elegant aroma of orange peel, barley, milk chocolate, caramel, vanilla, panna cotta, and baked apples, among others. On the palate, it presents grapefruit, mandarin, citrus, meringue, and caramelized almonds. The whisky's strength of 50.6% primarily highlights orange peel and milk chocolate, but with the addition of "a splash" of water and a reduction to 40%, a taste of grapefruit, vanilla, and panna cotta clearly emerges. "A splash" of water in this context should be understood as a mixing ratio of 1:4 (1 part water to 4 parts whisky).
