Romdeluxe Wild Series Rum No. 65 Jamaica is an exclusive 7-year-old single cask rum bottling from the Danish bottler, Romdeluxe. The rum is produced by Long Pond in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica, and the distillery dates all the way back to 1753. For the first 2 years, this rum was tropically aged at Long Pond, after which the remaining 5 years of aging took place in Europe.
Wild Series Rum No. 65 Jamaica is molasses-based, and after fermentation, the rum is pot still distilled according to traditional Jamaican methods, which is why we also find some of the classic "funk notes" in the aroma and taste. As usual, it has full power, as it is a natural rum with no added sugar, and the cask was also bottled at high cask strength.
