Macbeth Angus is one of twelve noble malts in the Thanes series, and is one of three in the first act of the Macbeth collection inspired by the Scottish play. The illustration was created by the acclaimed illustrator, Sir Quentin Blake. 

There is complexity in Angus, who is among the Thanes who switch allegiance from Macbeth to Malcolm during the play. One of 12 noble malts chosen to represent the Thanes in Shakespeare's play. This blend from four first-fill bourbon casks is an excellent example of a rich, weighty Glen Garioch from the 1990s. The choice of distillery, Glen Garioch, has its own fascinating history – the early 1990s saw a return to slower production, which can be tasted in the spirit's weight. More than three decades in American oak have created a concentrated and full-bodied dram with satisfying notes of panettone, candied peel and banana.
