Kiyoko Yuzu Aperitif
Kiyoko Yuzu Aperitif is a fresh sake-based aperitif from Kiyoko, produced on the Japanese island of Honshu. Kiyoko is located in Japan's mountainous south, along the Pacific Ocean. The large temperature variations and abundant sunlight provide ideal conditions for cultivating Yuzu, which is Japan's rarest fruit, somewhat resembling a lime.
In the production of Kiyoko Yuzu Aperitif, pure yuzu fruit juice is blended with Junmai sake, creating a beautiful and delicate balance of sweet, crisp, and fresh fruit. The yuzu juice is pure, not concentrated, and free from both additives and artificial flavors. Kiyoko's toji (master brewer) ensures a perfect balance between the pure Yuzu juice and the Junmai sake used. The sake is based on Gohyakumangoku rice, Miyamizu water from Mount Rokkō, and Junmai aroma.
Kiyoko Yuzu Aperitif can be enjoyed chilled with ice. You can also try it as a Yuzu Spritz:
8 cl Kiyoko
6 cl Prosecco
1 sprig of mint / citrus fruit for garnish.
