Elijah Craig Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Barrel Proof is produced by the Heaven Hill distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, which was founded in 1789 by Reverend Elijah Craig. He was the man who discovered the method of making authentic Kentucky Bourbon when he stored his goods in barrels that had been charred in a fire. Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is a "small batch premium bourbon whiskey". Nose: incredibly rich oak, syrup and caramel, followed by subtle hints of apple, cinnamon and orange. Taste: initially warm and dry oak, transitioning into sweet caramel. Please note that this product is a unique small batch product, taken directly from the barrel, and therefore the alcohol percentage may vary slightly with each new release. Ask us if you want to know the exact, current ABV. 60.5% - 70 cl.
