Annandale Man O' Words STR Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from Annandale Distillery, which was founded in 1836 by George Donald by the River Annan in northern Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Unfortunately, Annandale closed in 1918, but in 2014 the distillery was "reborn" with new owners who have taken the whisky in an exciting new direction. Annandale's whisky profile is different, exclusive, and intense, as all Annandale whiskies are non-chill filtered Single Cask editions bottled at cask strength.
This very special Founders Collection edition is matured in Shaved - Toasted - Re-Charred (S.T.R.) Ex-Burgundy casks and Ex. Red Wine Cask. Annandale Man O' Words STR Single Malt Scotch Whisky was precisely matured in cask #307 with a rich and complex flavor profile without peat smoke.
